Can The Will Be Altered and challenged by Legal Heirs

03-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
My grandmother wants to make a will for her own property to my name. She has 4 sons and 2 daughters including my father, but she isn't willing to give it to any of them. My question is, if she wants to will it all to my name, can all the other heirs to the property file a case against her will when it's opened? Will they still have any right to the property?

In this case you need to look upon whether it an ancestral property or self acquired property. If it is the ancestral property, then the legal heirs have the right to get share in that property. However we need to see the will that whether it is registered or not. Will can only be altered by the maker of will.
