We are planning to take a home loan, where i'll be the primary applicant and my husband will be the co-applicant. now he's suggesting that the agreement be made in his and his mother's name only. is it possible. should i be cautious in this case.

It's not possible...
The applicant who appiles for a home loan must be the owner or Co owner..

The agreement can be made between seller i.e. First part qnd (you, your spouse & his mother) on the second part..
