Can I get property of grandfather from my father as a gift or in will.

I'm only son with 3 sisters. My grandfather got property after division with his brothers. After his death my father (only son also has 3 sisters) got property without division. (3 aunts gave no objection to acquisition in written on stamp papers). Now my father is sole owner of property. Will the property be considered as an ancestral? 1.If not can my father give it to me as a gift or in will or can sell me for nominal amount? Which method is economical? 2. If it is considered as an ancestral property how can my father give it to me legally without any legal issues? P.s. My father is ready to transfer the above said property on my name. He already made will of properties bought by him. Please provide solution and guidance.
