Can i claim my share on sold ancestral property

25-Jun-2023 (In Property Law)
My father died on March 2018. We are 3 sisters & a brother. My father already sold all the Ancestrial property to my brother in the year 2001 & 2009. Now I want to claim the share in the Ancestrial property. Is it possible to sold Ancestrial property by my father without consent of me. Whether it is possible to claim the share.

Ancestral property is one which you inherit and is coming from previous fourth generation and beyond. So if the property you are mentioning about is of this type then your father had no right to sell the property without your consent and the transaction executed between your father and brother can be cancelled by filing a suit.

Since your father has sold the Ancestral property it will not be possible for you to claim the share as the property is sold. Is there a registered sale deed regarding the sale of property. when did you come to know regarding this sale,.
