Can i claim my mother's share which was given by grandfather

09-Jan-2023 (In Property Law)
Hello Sir ! My grandfather had a self acquired property which he left to his 2 daughters without a will. My mother, the third daughter passed away on my birth years back when my grandfather was alive. My question to you is, can I and my sister claim or have any right to a part in this property as in ( share of my mother ) who passed away long time back?
