Can I claim for money where I am the nominee

I m from mumbai. My aunty kept me (niece- from her mother's side) as nominee for her fixed deposit account. Now her cousin ( real uncle's son) is saying this FD money belongs to him. So he wants my sign to withdraw money. Is he eligible to get the money. If I take the money what action can he take against me? Please help... Im in mess

In case you are the nominee of the Fixed Deposit account nobody has the right other than you to claim the money. You can withdraw the money yourself. If her cousin is claiming the money, he can claim such money through court where he will need to prove that through evidences.
