Can I claim for expenses for attending court proceedings property case

Dear Sir, doing private job my uncle sold undivided land to third party and now the new buyer file suit for partition. now he got stay order from Civil Judge. can am file case against the reimbursement of expanses accrued for attending the case. Am not purchase the land neither sold any land but now forced to attend the court proceeding. in a private job it is very difficult to me attend as well travelling cost is very high around 4000/- plus leave without pay for those days. total 4 days transit time required toreach
