Can family member claim share in property named under Hindu Family

05-May-2023 (In Property Law)
My father currently runs a movie theatre in a small town and has always been the sole investor in it but the business is under the name of the family company(Hindu). Can other members of the family take over even if they've never even worked for it. Not even bothered to invest in it in over 20 years. My father has recently started a renovation and relatives have come forward asking for their share. Can they ask for it?

If the property is an ancestral property then all the legal heirs have right in the property and can claim share in the property. The property will be divided according to the Hindu Succession Act.
