Can daughters get share in ancestral property in karnataka.

My grandfather owns many acres of land near a village in Bidar district, Karnataka from his great grand father. My grandfather expired in 2003 and my grand father has 3 sons and 5 daughters. Now the daughters can get the share in above property. In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana,Daughters have equal share in ancestral property. I would like like to know is the the share law prevail in Karnataka.We belong to Hindu Religion.
Yes, daughters have share in the ancestral property. You can claim for share in the property. The ancestral property will be divided according to the Hindu Succession Act.
