Can daughter clam share in mother's property

16-Jun-2023 (In Property Law)
I have a flat which is registered under my Late Mother's name.My father expired a long time ago. I have given that flat on rent for past 6-7 years,I pay the maintenance charges, and the receipts are in my name. I have three sisters all of them married. They have never ever paid attention to the flat &towards my mother, when she was alive, but now they will want to interfere and claim their money.I wish to directly transfer the above mentioned flat under my daughter's name. Is it legally possible? or what is the alternative?

Taking into consideration the above facts . Inorder to transfer the flat in your daughter name. You need to first transfer the flat in your own name.
According to the property type and the law related to it .

Whether the property is self acquired or ancestral?
Ancesrtal property is distributed equally among all the legal heir of that property.
Self acquired property can't be claim as of right. It is the owners wish that whom he want to give it.
When property is from mother side then then different rule applicable.
If u share ur state and property details then we could help u.
