Can change of name later affect the sale of the property

30-Jul-2023 (In Property Law)
I purchased a flat in Mumbai in 2002 and after few years, I changed my name. Change was affected in gazette, afidevit, society share certificate, passport, bank, utility bills etc. Now I am planning to sell the flat, but my stamp duty and registration receipt and original property purchase agreement has my old name on it. Does it create a problem in selling the flat? What procedure is to be followed here?

Hello, you have to attach the name change affidavit n the gazette notification.. Also find out that can you make the change in name in adhar card. You can also mention both the names in the document for registration.
