Can brother claim share in land bought by wife

Hello sir I have doubts regarding a land issue. i have a big brother we all live together but in this they want partition. My wife purchase a land/plot on his own name . My question is that is any chance for big brother to get partion in this plot. And plz sir give me some details regarding the partion of joint families. Thank you
No, your brother cannot claim share in the self acquired property of your wife. Your brother can only claim share in the ancestral property or self acquired property of your father.
