Can any person purchase property of his grandfather by sale deed

Can a person purchase a property from grandfather through sale deed? property is in the name of grandfather it self.

yes it you can get it by sale deed. why don't you go with gift deed. it will cost you less and you need not to show any amount for accepting that property in gift deed. in sale deed you have to show at-least the payment of dlc of that property.

If that property is self earned property of grandfather than the same can be purchased from him.if property is ancestral of grand father than he can sale only his share to you not the entire property.
