Can a daughter claim share in father's property

My father died in 2003. We are 4 children, 2 sons and 2 daughter. I am his youngest daughter. I want share in his property but according to latest law in 2015 can you tell me can I get it or not and what is actually latest law regarding this.

According to the recent supreme court judgement in 2005 , daughters will have a share the parent's self-acquired property as well if the parent's death took place after 2005. Since your father died in 2003 you will only have a share in the property if it was your father's ancestral property. If the property was your father's self acquired property you won’t have any share in it.
