Builder not returning money amount rs 2.40 lakh

Builder not returning money.
Amount given 2.40 lakh.
Approached for cancellation in Dec 2023. Agreed to pay in Nov, 2024.
But not returning money everytime saying next month.
You should immediately issue a legal notice to the builder demanding refund of the Rs. 2.40 lakh along with interest for the delay. If he fails to comply, you can file a complaint before RERA for refund with interest under Section 18 of the RERA Act. Alternatively, a complaint can also be filed before the Consumer Forum for deficiency in service and mental harassment. Make sure to preserve all written communication, receipts, and proof of cancellation for legal support.
