Builder making a balcony which is not sanctioned what can I do
23-May-2023 (In Property Law)
Sir, the problem is that the flat i am buying has no balcony sanctioned in the plan, but the builder said they can make a balcony out of the space they got sanctioned as elevation only after they get a completion certificate from the municipality. is it ok? and what if they choose not do that after they get paid, how can i legally bound them to provide me the balcony? super built up area is 770 sqft.
You can file a complaint to the concerned Municipal Corporation and inform them of the illegal balcony being constructed in the building. Secondly, you can file a suit for injunction, along with the complaint filed with the Municipal Corporation.
