Builder charged 18% late payment but gave less for delayed possesion

My builder charged me 18% interest rate on late payment by few days but gave me very minuscule amount for delayed possession. On that as well, he took 1-2 days in month as full months to avoid delayed possession penalty. They delayed the project by more than 2 years. Now I got the possession and registry is also done, can I file a case against him take get same interest rate on delayed possession. During registry also, they got cash from money for paying bribes.

We can comment on your query only after examining the agreement which you executed with the builder.

If as per the agreement you have agreed to pay 18% annual as late fee, then you are required to comply with same.

Same goes with compensation for delayed possession
