04-Feb-2023 (In Property Law)
Builder made a promise to made parking in the ground floor of the building but he changed that without informing us. But nothing like parking is mentioned in the agreement but is available in the map furnished by the builder. What to do?

Kindly check the terms and conditions of the Builder Agreement. In case there is a provision of change in location of the shop then it can be done but certainly it cannot be done without your consent and moreover, the size of the shop cannot be changed at all. This amounts to unfair trade practice and deficiency in service which can be challenged before the Consumer Court. However, do remember to plead that you have purchased the shop for your livelihood else you would not fall under the defination of consumer as the property is a commercial property.
