12-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
My two younger brothers and my father looking over the business in our great grand fathers property .I am the eldest son of my family and am working. My father has met with a loss of Rs.10 lakhs. So, owing to my financial status I gave 1 Lakhs, and remaining debt was paid by my brothers, In turn we have transferred the property from our fathers name to we three brothers name. Know, My two younger brothers are trying to take over the entire property since they gave 9 Lakhs for my fathers debt, and planned to give me few cash in settlement to me. Kindly provide me the solution to solve this.

It is purely your own decision whether to accept the cash in lieu of the value for your proportionate share in the property or to drag them to court of law with regard to yor claim for a share in the property as per your entitlement.

You may file a partition suit against them claiming your share and separate possession of your share in the property.

If you can fight the long drawn legal battle, you can go ahead or try to find an amicable solution and withdraw your agitation against them.
