Brothers and Mother refusing property share to the sisters

Hello,
I would like to know if the daughters of the house can be denied their share in the property by the mother( parent)? Is it possible that the parent create a will and give the property only to the sons and not to daughter. In such cases , what can the daughters do to acquire their legal share when in need?
This is my response to you:
1. If the property is self-acquired property of mother then she can give to whomsoever she wants;
2. If it is self-acquired property then you can stake a claim on it;
3. You can send a legal notice;
4. Last step is to file a case in the civil court and obtain stay and injunction on the same;
5. Consult a local lawyer and take steps.
