Bought property but did not register. Now previous owner troubling us.

My father bought a property around 2 and half acre before 30 years..but he did not done any registration for that,dont have any proof. Landlord left the property after getting the money from my father before 30 years itself. After buying the land my father made it as green land which was dry land when he bought. Now, landlord was dead who sold land to my father, But his wife came back to us and asking money for that land for the latest valuation rate. We told her that we paid money already. She is not accepting.Is there any way to get our land without paying again?Thanks in advance for ur help
Is he having the land records mutated on his name?, Are the agricultural activities having revenue records on his name? Is he having copy of tax receipts?
If ye for all these, he can perfect the title by adverse possession also by filing a suit for declaration of title on his name.
He may consult a local lawyer for further ste[s i this regard.
