Associate member can contest election

What is the rule of associate member can they contest for election bear a post in the society if a original member is having more 2 kids born before 2001 can the contest for election

1. If you are speaking about housing society then there is no such rule;
2. You being the associate member are not the owner;
3. If there is POA then you can contest the election and attend meetings on behalf of the owner.
