Apartment Redevelopment query or issue

I am flat owner in one of Apartment in Pune.Now we have completed 8 years. Due to metro work, our building has got additional FSI so our apartment secretary along with another member are thinking to demolish building and rebuild new one with help of another developer. Note that our developer has not done land conveyance yet with us.
Me along with some other members are not in favor of this as we believe new development will cause trouble to us. How can we oppose this decision?
