Amount of rent which can be recovered by the landlord

"if my rent was 32 rupees in 1995 and i have not paid rent from 1995 what is the rent that my lanlord can demand today"
He can only recover which is pending for last 3 years and he cannot recover beyond that because he is bound by limitation act.
