After grandfather can his wife sale the property brought by him

21-Apr-2023 (In Property Law)

My grandfather purchased land many years back. On his death, it was transfered to my grandmother's (GM) name post NOC from all the children. In the legal document, it is mentioned that my GM is a legal heir to the property FOR ITS MANAGEMENT ONLY. Does it mean she can sell the property? All legal property work has also been completed for sale and sale deed is also done. Plz confirm if there can be any legal issues is 1 of uncle wants to put a stay order post sale. Also post sale, does my GM have to distribute the amount received to her children now or she can spend as per will to purchase apt

All the legal heirs have equal right in the father's property. Where the property has been transferred to mother through NOC by all the legal heirs for management purpose only then the mother will have no right to sell the property. All the legal heirs will have equal right on the property. Therefore it cannot be sold without the consent of other legal heirs.
