Add my mother's name on the property
17-Jan-2023 (In Property Law)
My father owns a flat in Bengaluru. We want to add my mother as a joint owner of this flat. What is the process of doing this?
Hi, If it is your father's self acquired property, then he can gift the 50% ownership in the flat to your mother by executing the registered gift deed and by virtue of the registered gift deed your mother will also become the co owner of the flat along with your father.
