Access to my house though a ONLY narrow lane

09-Jun-2025 (In Property Law)
My house is accessible only though a narrow lane. This lane is shared by another neighbour. There are other 2 houses who can access this lane, however they have alternative access to main sub road. On the opposite side of the lane there is an empty plot. My house is at the end of the lane, this is the only way I can access main road. I suspect someone (may be even my neighbours)may block the lane to expand their house if the empty plot owner agrees. Is it possible to block the lane?Kindly suggest

since your plot is at the end and you have no other alternative path to access the main road, you have the right to access the passage freely. Blocking of the passage is illegal, they cannot block it. however, it appears that these are adjacent plots and there is one passage, so the relevant documents need to be seen before proper advice. You can take recourse of law.
