Police mentioned wrong vehicle number in FIR for motor accident

My friend met with an accident while traveling in my bike.police has filed an fir against my friend but unfortunately they have entered my bike registration number wrongly.It was tn47AH5290 but they wrote it as tn47AZ5290.Now I want to know how to change this? How to claim my insurance since they wrote the reg no wrongly? And I want to know whether I had to pay compensation money to third party if was not able to claim my insurance in the court?
Fir can be changed and insurance company will pay 3rd part damages if everything in record your side is clear
