A simple money bond is a document wherein lender advances loan to the borrower on certain terms and conditions. The object of the simple money bond is that it determines the terms and conditions between the lenders and the borrowers. The bond is binding on both parties and is enforceable by law when entered into by both parties.
A simple money bond ensures that the lender has a record of the transaction entered into between the lender and the borrower. It also records the terms and conditions in accordance with which the transaction has taken place. No specific documents are required in order to draft and execute a simple money bond. However, ID proofs of the parties in order to confirm the names and permanent addresses of the lender and the borrower must be scrutinized. Documents evidencing clear title of the property being mortgaged (if any) of the borrower in question could also be examined.
There is no specific procedure applicable in the making of the simple money bond.
