Vacate Tenant without Rental Agreement

05-Jun-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
We have rented out our land of 30,000 sq ft along with the a office room for a lorry transport. It has been almost 7 years now. Advance 1 lakh and monthly rent of 17,000. We have not renewed our rental agreement for the past 6 years. Now we are planning to vacate our tenant as we are facing many issues like delayed rent payment and too many vehicles parked at the premises which is creating issue for our other business near by. Please advice if we need to prepare new agreement before asking the tenant to vacate. Is it possible for us to vacate the tenant without the rental agreement? Awaiting your valuable advice. Thanks in advance.

You may do so. First, send them an eviction notice through your local lawyer, asking them to vacate the rented premises and deliver vacant possession within a month's time. If there is no response, file a complaint with the Rent Authority having appropriate jurisdiction over your area.
