Person rented my shop and is not vacating

My father gave two shops on rent to in Kanpur city. He has been there now for nearly 18 years. There was no agreement. He pays rent 500 that is very less. Now when my father asked him to vacate the shops. He says he won't and he says he is advocate and he will not do it and he is asking money to empty the shops. Please help what can be done

If there is a breach of condition by the tenent, then issue legal notice to vacate the house within specified days, if he failed to respond your notice then file a suit for eviction.
Notice is must. Failure to pay the rent by the tenent amounts to defaulter. You have got good ground to evict the tenent legally.
