Legal procedure to evacuate tenant & recover property
19-Jan-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
I have a tenant from very long. I had removed him during the development of my house, but I redeveloped only 75% and the rest was kept same. The remaining 25% unchanged part was given back to tenant of completion of 75% redevelopment. Now I want to remove the tenant. I do take rent but donot provide any kind of rent receipt to him. If I try to take step to remove my tenant will my tenant file a case against me and are there any chances that he will win the case. We don't have any agreement paper made for the tenant to stay. Also the tenant is not staying at the place but is running a small factory there. And the place is residential place. Please guide me on what steps would be beneficial for me in order to take control of my property back to me.
