Landlord has taken an amount but did not complete the work what to do

Dear Sir, , Residing at Byculla. I live in a building which is pagdi system and i have 2 flats combined together. 2 years ago our landlord approached us and asked to pay a sum of amount of Rs 1Lac. He assured that by paying 1 Lac of rupees he will make 2 rent receipts in different names for 2 family members. He made 2 receipts and provided however last year he sold the building. Now new landlord is denying to provide the 2 receipts as decided he says provide any single name Now I want to sue old landlord for false commitment What is the procedure, Need help
You can file a suit for recovery against your previous landlords and also file a police complaint against them, You can in the mean while also file a stay order in respect to the new landlords. You can begin with sending them a legal notice to your previous landlords.
