30-Mar-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
I have allowed one caretaker to live in my vacant house under oral arrangement..........is it safe ? Should I execute written agreement for house caretaker….not tenant agreement ........ If so, should it be stamped..........registered/notorized ? And what should be the currency period of agreement ?

It is advisable to lease out the said property to the caretaker, as simply handing over the possession of the property to a stranger without any consideration holds no value in law. Thus, you should engage a lawyer to draft a lease agreement in which if you want, you can include a minimum consideration, for whatever the minimum value suits you and the care taker.
