Installation of Air Conditioner

I would like to install an air conditioner at my rented accommodation. My landlord is not giving me the permission. What are my options?

take independent electricity connection and install the ac. in case the rent agreement has a specific embargo then you will he ordinarily helpless. in case it doesn't then the first step would be to serve a legal notice upon your landlord and then take injunction against him from forbidding you from getting an ac connection.
