How to recover money from tenant

inspite of legal agreement, tenant did not pay complete rents and society dues and vacated the flat in . 2 cheques also bounced but i did not take action as he was assuring to return the money. now 1 year has passed and he has not paid. actions against which acts should be taken for non payment , cheque bounce and fraud.

Since one year has passed so now you can not make any claim for cheque bounce ...
now the only remeddy is money suit....
