How to get a tenant to vacate the property

16-Feb-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
I rented out my property for 11 month to a person to run school in my building. Now he is refusing to vacate the property. What law says about it and how much time it to take if I go to court , I have read somewhere that if the tenant states in court that it is his only way to earn livelihood, court will rule in his favour. What I should do.

I assume you do not have had any rental agreement with the tenant. Thus, based on the information provided by you I will advise you to give a notice to vacate the property atleast 6 months prior just to avoid any issue. After that if the tenant still denies to vacate the property you can file an eviction suit in the competent civil court having jurisdiction over the locality.
