Cancellation of flat booking with Adarsh developer

We booked a flat with Adarsh developer in Feb 2020 and paid an amount of 4 lakhs at the time of booking. We cancelled the booking next month in March. The builder promised to give us the money back in few months .but they have not given anything still. What can we do

You can issue a legal notice to seek refund of the amount. However you will need written documentation that they promised to return. In fact you also need to see your booking form/ or any other document that you have signed to understand the refund policy.
