Can there be multiple Tenant names in residential Rental agreement?

10-Oct-2024 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
I have given my Duplex individual house for rent in Bangalore to a family of 4 adults( Parents and 2 adult children) Though they belong to the same family, they are insisting on mentioning their names separately in the rental agreement, can I mention multiple names in the tenants section using 'and' followed by their names? Is it legal to have multiple tenants names for a residential house? Can it cause any future problems to the landlord? What is the format for drafting multiple names in tenant

There can be more than one tenant in the rental agreement. No need to execute multiple rental agreements. To know the format you have to consult property attorney and get the same. Plz contact us to avail rental agreement service
