HI,
want to know about tenants law as i haven't got my lease since am living this place and am paying rent in cash, also, landlord wants me to give all of my friends or visitors legal id's could you please advise
no he can't say like this. there is no such provision in rent act to give any particular or personal document of any such person to a landlord. you can refuse to supply them. but it should be kept in mind by you that there should not be any unlawful activities on your part in the rented property while occupying the rented premises otherwise he may seek your eviction from the same.
