Termination of service from private college what can I do

28-May-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
I have been teaching as a professor in a private engineering college in Sept 2012. In Feb 2016 I was asked to resign becasue college was not financially well off,. However they hired three older retired persons at double the salary. The termination letter stated that one months notice was given as per accepted conditions at time of joining. No contract conditions were stated in the appointment letter apart from 12 days leave, depositing original documents etc. During service I attended conferences and was given travel assistance. This attendance is put on their website.

Your employment with a private company is governed by the letter of appointment issued to your by the company and comes under the ambit of Contract Act and terms of the termination of the employments depends on the condition mentioned in the employment contract. If the employer terminates the services, in case you don't resign, the company will have to pay retrenchment compensation  in 15 days wages for each completed year of service, Gratuity, PF, balance earned leave encashment.
