Suspension of an employee from service

Ours is a financial company dealing in microfinance segment . We want to investigate a financial misappropriation suspected to have been done by our collection staff by visiting / contacting the customers he was handling . Hence we want to suspend him " without pay" pending investigation.
1) What process to be followed for suspending the employee
2) if financial fraud is proved , then we want to exit him from the date of suspension without paying salary for the suspended period
