09-Mar-2025 (In Labour & Service Law)
Hi I am a software Engineer having 7.5 lpa salary. I was employed on May 2024 by a service based company, in the appointment letter which i signed there was a clause mentioning that I am required to stay within the company for at least 17 months, Is this an employement bond? there was no compensation or legal penalties mentioned in the appointment letter. Secondly, my salary has been delayed for past few months by 10-15 days each month. I am willing to serve the notice period,

The Payment of Wages Act, 1936 requires employers to pay wages to employees by a specific date depending on the number of employees and the type of work. Payment date for establishments with fewer than 1,000 employees Wages must be paid before the seventh day of the month Wages must be paid on a working day and not on a holiday Payment date for larger establishments Wages must be paid before the tenth day of the month after the wage period.
