My company is forcing to serve 90 days notice period

My comapny is forcing me to serve 90 days notice period where as my terms of employment says i have to serve only 30 days . The HR is not providing me a valid reason.what shall i do in such case ?

Please submit your resignation letter referring to the specific provision under which the 30 days provision is mentioned. Let the HR respond to that saying that they are imposing a 90-day policy. You can use this to send a legal notice or initiate court proceedings.

Hi, you will abide to the terms of the employment contract and nothing else. If HR or anyone insists ask them on what basis they mandate such condition. Approach higher management and warn them on legal consequences.
