Legal notice for non completion of a work from home job
06-Sep-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
Hie my wife took a work from home job and due to her ill health, she could not complete it. However there was no contract signed and now she has got a legal notice on mail and on message application that she has to pay the amount mentioned or else she will have to bare the consequence Please help us in this case how do we verify that the firm and the lawyer actually exist and this is not a fraud that is happening with us
This is my response to you:
1. Send a reply to the legal notice through a lawyer;
2. If there was no agreement then she is not bound by it;
3. Your wife has not much to worry about;
4. Just take precautions and consult a local lawyer;
5. If they trouble you more file an FIR at the police station.
