Full and final settlement

If employee leaves job and taking his outstanding dues in full and final settlement what format should we get it signed from him

There is no fixed format of this , however a resignation letter or a letter acknowledging receipt of the dues (full and final settlement ) mentioning specifically all d details and duly signed by the employee . For further assistance I would need the details

You get an affidavit signed with the out going party on a stamp paper of twenty rupees wherein he will state that he is leaving the organization for the reason mentioned in his resignation letter duly served by him to the company and have received all his outstanding dues and other relevant documents making his departure final and there are no more transaction left in between him and the company. In this way tomorrow if he tries to sue you for anything then he won't be able to do so.
