Company not ready to provide release letter

Hi, I am currently serving notice period of 30 days, and only 9 days r left. But as I was doing wfh, company asking me to come back just in one day, which is not possible as my office is in Chennai and I am in Kolkata currently. They know the situations already that in 2days I am getting married but still forcing me to report to office otherwise they will terminate and not give proper release letter. I only have few days left for notice, ending on 12th Feb, what shall I do?Can I take legal step?
Namaste. Kindly let me know if your notice period has ended and still your company has asked you to continue with notice. as for your question. yes we can take legal action against the company. since it is forcing you to come to office on a one day notice.
