Company not paying internship dues even after resignation

30-May-2025 (In Labour & Service Law)
Hi, I worked as a business development intern in April 2025 with a promised monthly stipend. I informed them about my resignation verbally, served a 1-week notice, and later submitted a formal resignation letter and a work report. The company owes me ₹6,662 in dues. Despite multiple reminders, they have not responded. I’ve warned them of legal action by 30th May. What legal steps can I take now? Can I send a notice myself or go to the Labour Commissioner?

If you have completed your law degree and have been enrolled as an advocate, you can send them a legal notice on your own. Else, approach labour inspector and file a complaint with him/her. If that also doesn’t work, then approach labour commissioner.
