Companies asking employees to work for 14 hours is that legal

24-Jun-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
In Madurai, there are many small private IT companies such as Cogzidel who do software development and maintenance for foreign clients. They put a lot of work load on their employees and they don't follow work timings. They even ask them to work for 14 hours a day. Their lady staffs leaves even 11 pm at night. Is there any legal way to force them to follow a regular timing because it is a big mental torture and insecurity for ladies.

How many hours (maximum) per day, week and year can a person work?
