Can not serve notice period due to medical reason

05-Jan-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
As per policy, my organisation has 3 months notice period policy. Unfortunately, I can not serve notice period because my mother is diagnosed with cancer and i need to be with her, so I have to relocate from my current location to home location. I have already served 1 month 15 days notice. Unfortunately, I have to take hard decision and go back home, without serving notice period. I have provided all medical certificates to organisation. Also, Shall I expect relieving and experience letter from org?

This is my response to you: 1. You have a genuine reason to leave; 2. You should be exempted for serving the full notice period; 3. You can also state to them that your notice period can be bought by releasing your salary; 4. Consult a local lawyer and take steps.
